- Booking details you provide: name, phone number, email, city, and (if applicable) your HSIM Student UID.
- Payment information is collected and processed by Razorpay; we receive only the payment status and a reference ID — never your full card or bank details.
- Technical data such as IP address and basic device/browser information, used for security and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
- To process your booking and send confirmations and event updates.
- To verify student eligibility for the discounted price.
- To prevent fraud and secure the Site.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
3. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the event — notably Razorpay (payments) and our email provider for sending confirmations. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data retention & security
We retain booking records for as long as needed for the event, accounting and legal obligations. Reasonable technical and organisational measures protect your data; however, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
